Frisco lands #1 spots in 2024 Best Places to Live rankings from Niche
Once again, our hometown has landed at the top in some prestigious rankings.
In the 2024 Best Places to Live rankings from Niche, Frisco is No. 1 in Collin County for Places with the Best Public Schools, Best Suburbs to Live In, and Best Suburbs to Raise a Family.
Much of the credit for these top rankings to the highly regarded Frisco Independent School District, and we’re proud to be part of it.
Frisco also ranks No. 2 in Best Suburbs for Young Professionals in Collin County, thanks to our city’s thriving tech sector and other employment opportunities. Our status as Sports City USA and thriving food and entertainment scenes offer plenty of options for residents of all ages.
Statewide, Frisco made the Top 10 in several important rankings, including Best Suburbs to Raise a Family in Texas (No. 6), and Places with the Best Public Schools in Texas (No. 7).
In the DFW Metroplex rankings, Frisco is No. 3 in Best Suburbs to Live in the DFW Area.
Frisco has an A+ overall grade from Niche, with an A+ for Public Schools, an A+ for Good for Families, and an A for Diversity.
The three other cities in our Four Corners location – where the boundaries of Frisco meet those of Allen, McKinney and Plano – also have overall A+ grades from Niche.
These are only the latest top rankings for Frisco. In other recent kudos, Frisco is a Top 10 Tech City in the U.S., with the No. 1 national ranking for livability.
Frisco ranks No. 2 in the U.S. for Most People Working from Home, another reflection of our tech-focused and connected local economy.
In good news for homebuyers, Frisco is the No. 2 Best Place to By a House in America in the 2023 national rankings from WalletHub.
In one of Frisco’s more unusual rankings, it’s the No. 1 city in Texas for roundabouts, a proven street design to reduce air pollution and traffic congestion, and to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
The Grove Frisco has a beautifully landscaped roundabout near Orchard House, with four more planned to come in our new phase north of Main Street.
