4 spectacular July 4 celebrations to enjoy in our Four Corners location

Our Four Corners location at The Grove Frisco provides a world of benefits for our residents, especially during summer, when our hometown of Frisco and the surrounding cities of Allen, McKinney and Plano light up the sky with their spectacular July 4 celebrations.

Read on for all the patriotic details, and enjoy!

Frisco Freedom Fest

One of Frisco’s biggest events of the year, Freedom Fest 2024 kicks off July 3 with a new nighttime fun run, the Party in the USA 5K. Other July 3 activities include the famous Dachshund Dash and the crowd favorite Cornhole Tournament.

Freedom Fest kicks into high gear on July 4, with live music, a car show, kids activities and a Patriotic Vendor Village. The grand finale is a 20-minute fireworks extravaganza.

New for 2024, Freedom Fest will include the Texas Ice Cream Festival, offering tastes of the best cold treats from local creameries.

Allen USA – an early treat

Fortunately, all of our local cities don’t try to celebrate July 4 on the same weekend. Allen offers a festive preview with its Allen USA event the week before Independence Day, on Saturday, June 29.

Taking place in Celebration Park, Allen USA is a free summer party featuring great music, delicious food, and one of the best fireworks shows in the DFW Metroplex.

Highlights include live music by headliners Infinite Journey and opening act Straight Tequila Night. There’ll also be more than a dozen food trucks offering.

Tickets are free but must be reserved at the website.

Red, White & BOOM! in McKinney

McKinney’s annual Red, White & BOOM! Independence Day celebration is one of the area’s most elaborate festivities, beginning with a Hometown Parade and Yankee Doodle Block Party in the historic downtown area in the morning.

The fun continues in the afternoon and evening, with festivities at Gabe Nesbitt Community Park including a Kids Zone with family activities and food, live music by The Rich Girls and Aura, and a spectacular fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.

Plano’s All-American 4th

Plano’s All-American 4th will be a spectacular Independence Day celebration from 6-10 p.m. on July 4, at the Collin College Spring Creek Campus.

Free to the public, this annual event includes fun family activities and a thrilling fireworks finale.
